Michael Yo Simmons (born November 20, 1974) is an American actor, TV Host, Hollywood expert and stand-up comedian.〔( It’s official. "My first show was last year at the Miami Improv. … I performed for 15 minutes," recalls Yo, whose "Yo Show" can be heard weekdays from 2 to 6 p.m. on Y100 and on Yahoo's Omg! channel. "Right after, I called my mom and told her, 'This is what I was born to do.' … I loved it that much."〕 He currently co-hosts The Insider on CBS, as well as Yo Show on Yahoo! TV, which garners an average of 1.5 million views per episode. Yo also appears regularly on the comedy panel of E!'s Chelsea Lately and as a guest host for The Talk on CBS. Yo continues to appear as a Pop Culture expert on HLN's Showbiz Tonight hosted by A.J. Hammer. Yo says that being a biracial person who is half Black half Korean, he has "a uniquely relatable and American experience in life".
